4 Nights of Wild Exploration:
This 4-night Wildlife Wonders package opens up a world of wonder by letting you explore the wild on foot and on game drives—this is ideal for an adventurous and relaxing safari experience.
Spend two nights at the comfortable Africa on Foot in the famed Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, where mornings will start with a professionally guided walk and finish with a sundowner game drive.
The walk introduces you to small creatures, often missed while out on drive. On these walks, you’ll learn about the geography, vegetation and wildlife of the area.
Your last two nights will be at the charming Chacma Bush Camp overlooking a thriving waterhole where kingfishers, elephants, warthogs, buffalo, and antelope frequent. Chacma is an intimate camp, where guests spend days relaxing around the pool while observing the waterhole just metres away. You’ll enjoy daily game drives in this thriving Big 5 reserve.

ITINERARY DETAILS:
Day 1
Africa on Foot
- Self drive or road transfer to Africa on Foot
- Sunset game drive
Embark on a brief 45-minute journey from Hoedspruit Airport to Africa on Foot, keeping an eye out for wildlife sightings en route.
Upon reaching your destination, indulge in a refreshing welcome drink while receiving a comprehensive safety briefing and orientation of the camp. Your attentive camp manager will then escort you to your cosy rondavel-style accommodation.
Take a moment to settle in and enjoy lunch at the main dining area before setting off for an evening game drive in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Stop for sundowners at a picturesque location and partake in a brief night drive back to camp, where a crackling campfire awaits you in the boma area.
Dinner will be a delightful affair served in the dining area, featuring a tasty three-course meal to tantalize your taste buds before retiring for the night.
Day 2
Africa on Foot
- Morning bush walk
- Afternoon game drive
Begin your day with an early wake-up call, greeted by steaming coffee and traditional rusks at the camp’s main area, before embarking on an exhilarating 3-hour morning bush walk. You even may encounter the Big 5 on foot, under the watchful expertise of a professional trails guide.
Following your morning adventure, return to camp for a hearty breakfast. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Choose to unwind in the camp’s main area or bask in the sun on the deck surrounding the pool (there are two to choose from).
Later in the day, enjoy a delicious lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive, complete with picturesque sundowners and an enchanting night drive back to camp.
Conclude your day with a delectable dinner, marking your final night at Africa on Foot. For those seeking an extra dose of adventure, consider reserving the treehouse for a night.
Spend an unforgettable evening under the twinkling stars, and let yourself be serenaded by the thrilling contact calls of lions and hyenas.
Day 3
Africa on Foot to Chacma Bush Camp

- Self drive or road transfer to Chacma Bush Camp
- Sunset Game Drive in the Maseke Game Reserve
Start your day with an early morning wake-up call, complete with coffee and rusks, before embarking on your final bush walk at Africa on Foot.
After this informative experience, return to camp for a satisfying breakfast, then take some time to freshen up and prepare for your next adventure. Bid farewell to Africa on Foot as you depart for Chacma Bush Camp via the Grietjie Gate.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome and comprehensive briefing from the camp host before being escorted to your comfortable chalet. Indulge in a delicious lunch served in the main area, where you might be treated to a delightful display by the resident elephants as they frolic at the nearby waterhole.
Later in the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive. Your knowledgeable guide will prepare a cooler box stocked with your preferred drinks as you journey into the sunset, immersing yourself in the wonders of the wilderness.
After a couple of hours of wildlife sightings, return to camp for a sumptuous dinner, marking your first memorable night at Chacma Bush Camp.
Day 4
Chacma Bush Camp

Rise to an early morning wake-up call followed by coffee and rusks. After a warm cuppa, you will depart for a morning game drive and encounter a range of wildlife on a game drive, and the possibility of seeing the Big 5. Although sightings are never guaranteed, the chances of seeing these sought-after species are high.
Upon your return to camp, indulge in a delicious breakfast to refuel for the day’s adventures. Take some time to relax with an afternoon siesta or opt for a game viewing session on the pool deck overlooking waterhole.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a satisfying lunch before embarking on a picturesque sunset game drive, complete with refreshing sundowners to cap off the day’s exploration.
After your memorable game drive, return to camp to unwind around the campfire, swapping stories of the day’s sightings. Then, relish in a delectable three-course dinner, marking your final night at Chacma Bush Camp before bidding farewell to this remarkable wilderness retreat.
Day 5
Chacma Bush Camp

Start your day with an invigorating early morning game drive, taking in the sights and sounds of the African bush as you search for wildlife in the company of experienced guides.
Following your adventure, indulge in a mouthwatering breakfast prepared by the talented chef at Chacma Bush Camp. After breakfast, take some time to freshen up and bid farewell to the dedicated team from Chacma.
Then, embark on your journey back to Hoedspruit Airport, reminiscing on the unforgettable experiences and cherished memories created during your stay in the heart of the Kruger wilderness.
