Sportstravel.co.za has teamed up with Uniswim Uplands Swimming Club in White River, to be able to offer your club / school / college etc. swim team exciting swimming packages to the Lowveld near the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
We are based in the beautiful town of White River, Mpumalanga, South Africa, which experiences a mild to warm climate all year round. Teams from the Northern Hemisphere may want to take advantage of our warm Summers as an escape from their Winters making us a perfect pre-season training destination.

* Access to a heated 25-meter training swimming pool (located at Uplands College, White River)
* Access to local well qualified coaches to facilitate programmes and clinics; our local representatives will be happy to work with your coaches on various programmes
* We also have connections to bring in expert Olympic standard coaches and even former gold medalists to help add specialised value and also conduct motivational workshops to enhance your programme
* Local competition of all categories of swimmers can be arranged through friendly galas
* Alternatively official levels galas take place throughout the year and Mpumalanga Swimming welcomes official club swimmers from outside the province (pre-arranged through the clubs/provinces) to partake in these events
* Access to nearby excellent open water lakes / dams where we can arrange open water training to take in all kinds of distances, we can facilitate the measurements and put the buoys and safety personnel in place; also…
* Regular official open water events take place in the area during the season so we can also facilitate entry for your delegates into these events as part of your greater programme
* Access to an Olympic standard 50m competition pool facility (unheated) in the nearby town of Nelspruit

2 NIGHT SWIMMING SAFARI PACKAGE
SAMPLE ITINERARY
Here is a sample 2-night itinerary based on your team arriving with their own transport (this is just a sample of what we can do, we will be able to tailor make something to suit your requirements):
DAY 1 –
02h00 pm – Arrive at The Pine Lake Inn hotel outside White River, check-in and change for training and gala. Transfer to the nearby heated 25m pool located at Uplands College.
03h15 pm to 05h15 pm – 2 Hour facilitated training programme
05h30 pm to 07h30 pm – Fun Gala (short course) competing with a select local team
08h00 pm – return to your hotel where a delicious buffet braai / bbq has been arranged for dinner
Overnight, Pine Lake Inn (dinner & breakfast)
DAY 2 –
07h00 am – Continental style breakfast served at the hotel
08h00 am – Make your way down to the Longmere Dam (also known as Pine Lake), your hotel is located on the banks of the dam so no transfer necessary
Enjoy an organised, open water training session, distances can be arranged from 500m to 10 000m
11h00 am – Head to your lodge located in the world-famous Kruger National Park, Nkambeni Safari Camp (the units are luxury standard tents with balconies and en-suite facilities – glamping style).
01h00 pm – Lunch is served at the restaurant overlooking the bushveld.
02h00 pm – Enjoy a full afternoon Kruger Park game drive in open safari vehicles with expert guides.
07h30 pm – Dinner will be served back at the lodge
Overnight, Nkambeni Safari Camp (Lunch, dinner, breakfast & 2 game drives)
DAY 3 –
06h00 am – Enjoy another game drive in Big 5 territory
09h00 am – Breakfast is served
10h00 am – Depart the lodge back to the airport or your next destination, we can also arrange a guided tour of some of the spectacular scenery (such as Blyde Canyon / God’s Window) making up the nearby Panorama Route
